Olympic Park
The Olympic Park is London’s newest postcode, E20 and is found in Stratford in the London Borough of Newham. The modern apartment blocks were used by the athletes during the London 2012 Olympics. Special landscaped parks and wetlands were created to surround the Olympic Park and they are packed full of wildlife. Within the Olympic Park you will find the following: the ArcelorMittal Orbit, The Last Drop, Timer Lodge Café, Waterways (the River Lea runs directly through the Park), Mandeville Place, Parklands and Playgrounds, the London Stadium, The Copper Box Arena, Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, London Aquatics Centre and the Lee Valley VeloPark so you will never be bored if you live there!

Stratford
You can find Stratford in the London Borough of Newham. It has become the second largest business location (after Canary Wharf) in the East of the Capital. Stratford is now most famous for having hosted the majority of the London 2012 Olympics with the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, as such, Stratford has benefited from a complete transformation in the years leading up to the Olympics and has continued to do so afterwards with impressive buildings such as the large Westfield Shopping Centre and the ‘Helter Skelter’ observation tower (ArcelorMittal Orbit). Mostly young professionals and students live here as it is very close to the city, Canary Wharf and the University of East London has an extensive campus in Stratford in a lovely listed building which dates back to the 19th Century. Getting around couldn’t be easier as it is about 15 minutes away from London City Airport by the DLR (there’s a whopping 6 DLR stations available in Stratford!), a high-speed train linking Stratford to St Pancras International station, two underground stations (Central and the Jubilee lines) a London Overground station and a train station, not to mention the large number of buses that run through here.
